The Acura TL: Through the Models

The Acura brand, founded in 1986, was created as an extension of Honda Motor Company with the intentions of becoming a luxury vehicle division. The Acura brand markets luxury and performance vehicles with a heavy focus in up-to-date technology. One of the most successful makes of the Acura division has been the Acura TL, the "Touring Luxury," which first went in to production in 1996 in an attempt to replace the Acura Vigor. Up until 2007, the Acura TL was Acura's best-selling model; it was out-sold by the MDX.

2012 Acura TL- Revealed at the Chicago Auto Show!

The 2012 Acura TL has a softer, toned-down front nose. The redesigned front bumper makes the new TL to be more aerodynamic than the 2011 version. Other updated features include a revised grille, headlights, turn signals, fog light design, and overhang. The new TL also features a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 TL also features standard 17x8 inch 2-spoke aluminum wheels.

Acura Will Unveril Restyled 2012 TL at Chicago Auto Show

Acura announced Monday that it will reveal its restyled 2012 TL at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show. The Chicago Auto Show will take place February 11-20. The Chicago Auto Show, put on by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), is the largest auto show in North America. First staged in 1901, the 2011 Chicago show will be held at McCormick Place.
